Upcoming Election

I'm nervous as hell about the upcoming election. I definitely do not want to see a Conservative majority government. If that happens, I am telling people that I am defecting and will no longer consider myself a Canadian. Of course, I don't know where I will go. I'll probably just stay here and stir up some shit by writing lots of irate letters and protesting constantly.

Status of Women offices closing. Funding to Options for Sexual Health in danger of being cut. Tax breaks for wealthy corporations. Less controls on food safety inspections. Homeless shelters being shut down. Insite being targeted for closure. Same Sex marriage rights under attack. I do not like the way things are going in this country. We need to do something about it.

I always become quite irate around election time. I pity anyone close to me during the next few days.
